Where Are Country Ridge and Sangamon Fields Located?

Country Ridge is located east of Route 47 and south of South Mahomet Road in Mahomet.

The subdivision includes more than 200 homes across multiple phases, with the first phase beginning in 1996 and later phases completed as recently as 2020.

Sangamon Fields sits directly south of Country Ridge, making the two neighborhoods feel closely connected.

Homes in Country Ridge

Country Ridge features a variety of traditional single-family homes with a mix of ranch and two-story floor plans.

One of the focal points of the neighborhood is a central pond surrounded by approximately 40 homes. Access to the pond is limited to the homeowners whose properties border it, and those homeowners are responsible for maintaining the pond.

The subdivision also includes a neighborhood park and playground located off Finch Drive, providing a space for outdoor recreation within the community.

Homes in Sangamon Fields

Sangamon Fields is a newer subdivision located just south of Country Ridge.

The neighborhood features newer homes along with its own pond and a network of biking and walking paths that connect residents to outdoor spaces throughout the area.

Because of its newer construction and convenient location, Sangamon Fields has become a popular option for buyers looking for homes in Mahomet.
