About the Lakes at Riverbend
Lakes at Riverbend is located south of Mahomet along Route 47, near the entrance to Riverbend Forest Preserve.
The subdivision includes approximately 70 homes and offers a peaceful residential environment surrounded by natural areas.
One of the distinctive features of the neighborhood is its proximity to Beaver Lake, which borders the northwest side of the subdivision.
Neighborhood Features
The northwest portion of Lakes at Riverbend backs up to Beaver Lake, creating scenic views and outdoor recreation opportunities for residents.
The subdivision includes a commons area easement, which allows lot owners and their guests to access the lake.
Residents are allowed to fish from the shoreline or from a boat on Beaver Lake, making it a unique feature compared to many other neighborhoods in the Mahomet area.
